Singh is survived by his wife, a daughter and a son.

A scion of the royal family of Nayagarh, Singh had been admitted in AMRI Hospital since August 30 after he suffered a heart stroke. He was put on a ventilator in the intensive care unit of the hospital, but slipped into coma on Thursday after developing multiple complications.
