The MLA from Sardhana is currently in judicial remand. The bail plea of another BJP MLA Suresh Rana from Thana Bhawan will be heard tomorrow.

Som, Rana and BSP MLA from Charthawal Noor Saleem have been arrested in connection with the communal violence in Muzaffarnagar district and surrounding areas that left 48 people dead and displaced thousands of others.
