The 17-year-old boy Abhishek tried his luck when he was watching the movie 'Luck' and killed himself with his father's pistol at a house on Wednesday evening.

Ved Prakash, father of Abhishek, student of class XII, told the police that he was watching Luck movie when he and his wife went for shopping at the market. When they returned, they found their brilliant son lying on a pool of blood.

Ved Prakash, suspected that, "He maybe got motivated from the movie where, the hero took out five bullets and tried his luck by pushing the trigger and did not get killed."

It is learnt that deceased Abhishek also took out five out of the six bullets from his father's pistol and placed them on the bed before the incident.

Though, DSP Narpjeet Singh said, "We are checking his facebook and other social networking accounts. We have called the hackers to crack his password, so we can know that if the student was in some kind of relationship or any other matter. Maybe deceased got motivated from the movie and tried his luck and pushed the trigger, but this is all a matter of investigation."

Ved Prakash, who runs a nursing college at Dariyapur of this district, said that his son was fine as he was a brilliant student among his classmates. He was a student of DAV Public School, Fatehabad.
