Brig Maan takes oath as police selection board chairman

Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda administered the oath of office and secrecy to Brig Joginder Singh Maan (retd) as chairperson of the Haryana State Police Recruitment Board (HSPRB) here on Wednesday. Brig Maan was accompanied by his wife, Rajpinder Maan.

He said 1,347 posts of constable in the category of ex-servicemen would be filled soon and the board had received the requisition in this regard.

Brig Maan from Hisar had served as deputy director general, army recruitment, Ambala zone, from 2005 to 2008.
