BSP legislature party meet on Saturday

BSP chief Mayawati is likely to convene a meeting of party's newly elected MLAs in Lucknow on Saturday.

Mayawati is likely to be formally elected the leader of the BSP legislature party in the meeting, party sources said.

All newly elected BSP MLAs will start arriving here tonight, they said.

Mayawati, however, did not say anything on the date of her swearing in, saying it would be announced later.

"First the notification has to be issued...We would inform the media when the date is decided," she said at a press conference here.
