Khemka questions Hry civil service officer's posting

Senior Haryana cadre IAS officer Ashok Khemka, who was in limelight recently after he cancelled the land deals of Robert Vadra, on Tuesday cried foul against the posting of an HCS officer.


Terming the posting of Vivek Atray - whose promotion from HCS to IAS cadre is yet to be notified – as unethical, Khemka, who was recently shunted out of the Haryana land consolidation department to Haryana Seed Development Corporation three days after he initiated the probe into Vadra's land deals, in a written communication to chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, held that the posting was also a case of gross impropriety.

Khemka said the government mechanically issued the impugned transfer order without examining the propriety of posting Vivek Atray as joint secretary and director, electronics and information technology department and managing director, Hartron, last week.
