A 26-year-old woman was allegedly gangraped by her husband and in-laws in Janjgir-Champa district of Chhattisgarh, police said here today.

"The woman's husband, brother-in-law and father-in-law were arrested on Sunday after the victim, a resident of Barpali village in Janjgir, filed a police complaint that she was raped by them on Friday," Janjgir-Champa SP Sheikh Arif Hussain said.

The victim had filed a complaint on Sunday that she was sexually abused by her husband and in-laws on Friday night.

"In her complaint, she also said her in-laws had molested her several times earlier," the SP said.

A case of gangrape has been registered against the accused, he said, adding that a probe is on.
