Flight operations were hit due to fog at the international airport in Kolkata with 50 flights affected since Friday night.
Airport sources said on Saturday that air traffic was stalled from 11.30 p.m. Friday night to 8.50 a.m. Saturday morning.
An Emirates flight was
the first to land at the airport at 8.50 a.m.
Thirty outgoing flights could not take off since Friday night due to fog while 20 incoming flights could not land.
Visibility till 8.50 a.m. was 50 metres.
