In a virtual tit-for-tat, Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa on Saturday said he would expose "land scams" involving JD(S) chief H D Deve Gowda and his son during their tenure at the helm of state affairs.
"Within two weeks, I will write to President Pratibha Patil and Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar detailing the scandals that took place during the tenure of Deve Gowda and his son H D Kumaraswamy as Chief Ministers of the state", said Yeddyurappa whose government has come under attack by JD(S) over alleged land scams and corruption.
Gowda had recently released a book over alleged land scams of Yeddyurappa government and distributed it among political leaders in Delhi.
"Congress and JD(S) have combined together to malign my government and have been making baseless allegations," Yeddyurappa said.
Kumaraswamy had over the past few months released several documents on land denotification and land allotments allegedly ordered by Yeddyurappa favouring his family members including his sons and son-in-law.
