A Congress MLA on Thursday barged into Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal’s press conference which was called to present the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) one-month report card.

Congress legislator MLA Asif Mohammed accused the AAP of discrimination against the Muslim community. “Why did Kejriwal’s party not set up a special investigation team (SIT) probe into the Batla House encounter?” he asked.

The MLA said he would not cooperate with the AAP in the Delhi assembly even if it meant getting expelled from the Congress. “I demand that the Congress party withdraw support to Kejriwal’s party,” the legislator, who walked into the press conference that was about to conclude, said.

The Delhi CM and other cabinet ministers were immediately taken away from the venue as the ruckus refused to die down.

Kejriwal had called the meet to address the press as his government completed 30 days in office on Thursday. He spoke about a host of issues including an SIT probe into the 1984 riots and the prevailing VIP culture among politicians in the country.
