Condition of the eight-month-old conjoined Nigerian twins, who were separated after surgery in a city hospital, was "stable" on Tuesday.
"Both are stable and their vital parameters working fine. They are still on ventilators and are expected to come out of it after 72 hours," authorities of Narayana Hrydayalaya hospital, which conducted the surgery, said.
The conjoined twins Peace and Patience were successfully separated yesterday after an 11-hour-long surgery, performed by a team of 24 medicos.
The twins were fused at the abdomen and shared a common liver and intestine.
