An official spokesperson for the bureau said in a release on Friday that the bureau had got a complaint from one Jahir Ahmad, a resident of Panchsheel Vihar, New Delhi, that the ASI and the HC were demanding Rs. 10 lakh from him in lieu of absolving criminal charges levelled against his son Islam, who was involved in other cases as well.

He said a case was registered against them in Gurgaon on July 23, while arrests of the ASI and the HC and further investigation of the case were in progress.
