Deceased Pradeep Julka (30), was alone at home when he took the extreme step. He has left behind a suicide note stating that he was responsible for his own death, said the police.

Though Julka was a resident of Paschim Vihar, New Delhi, he had been staying in a rented apartment in Sushant Lok’s H Block.

The incident came to light after Julka’s associate Ravi visited his house on Saturday.
As the main door was ajar, Ravi entered the house and found Julka hanging from the ceiling fan. He immediately informed the
police.

Police officials said Julka had married a Delhi resident Upasana four years ago but there was tension between the couple since a few days.

“His wife had left for her parents’ house on Friday night. He had to repay loans and thereby chose to end his life,” said the police.

The Sector 56 police and ACP Rajiv Yadav reached the spot and sent the body for a postmortem.

The police have taken the suicide note, Julka’s laptop and his mobile into their possession.
Julka had invested money in the share market and had suffered huge losses last year.

In his suicide note, Julka has mentioned that he had availed many loans.

The Sector 56 police later handed the body to Julka’s family members.
