Delhi resident killed as SUV rolls down gorge

A 36-year-old resident of Delhi was killed when the Scorpio he was driving skidded off the road and rolled down a 100-m-deep gorge on the Manali-Rohtang Pass, 32 km from here, on Friday. According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Tanzin Wangchuk. He used to run a shop at Delhi.

Wangchuk's in-laws stay in nearby Vashisht village. He was on his way to Delhi from Leh. The vehicle was pulled out by   firemen from the Manali fire station with the help of ropes. The body has been handed over to his relatives after a postmortem examination.
