Nagpal had been given 15-day time to file her reply to the state government. The 15-day deadline expires on Monday. Sources said Nagpal gave her reply to the state government here on Friday.

Senior officers of the state appointment department remained tightlipped on the issue. A senior officer however said the state government was examining her reply to the chargesheet. An appropriate decision would be taken at the top level once her reply was examined, said the officer.

Nagpal had earlier met chief secretary Javed Usmani and secretary to chief minister Anita Singh to make her point clear to state government.
