Ex-Congress MLA joins Haryana Janhit Congress

Ex-Congress MLA Jai Singh Rana on Sunday joined Haryana Janhit Congress. Jai Singh Rana, four time MLA from Nilokheri, Karnal district, and senior Congress leader left Congress party alleging biased regional development in GT Road belt by Hooda government.

Jai Singh Rana had earlier indicated of joining the Haryana Janhit Congress party. He had alleged that the party had been neglecting a veteran leader like him for unsaid reasons and had also shown his keen interest in re-entering the electoral politics.

Rana remained close to the former chief minister and founder of HJC Bhajan Lal.

Police to conduct polygraphic test on DIG Paraskar

The Mumbai crime branch has sent a letter to deputy inspector general Sunil Paraskar in a bid to seek his permission to conduct a polygraphic and lie detector tests on him. While the police are awaiting a response from Paraskar, the officials said that they would soon approach the court to seek its permission.
