The police have so far arrested four persons in connection with the killings near Rohini village of Deoghar, around 300 km northeast of state capital Ranchi.
The AJSU has condemned the killings. Party chief Sudesh Mahato has demanded a judicial probe to verify if there was a political motive.
Two police officers, meanwhile, have been suspended for dereliction of duty.
