A 15-year-old Bihar girl has been rescued two months after she was allegedly kidnapped, gangraped and forced into prostitution in Ellenabad area of the district, police said here on Thursday.
The victim, a resident of Bhagalpur district in Bihar, was kidnapped from Rajasthan, police said.
In her complaint to the police, the victim said, two months ago, accused woman Gomati after kidnapping her from Rajasthan, brought her to Krishna's house in Ellenabad area of the district.
On Tuesday night, she was allegedly gangraped by three youths, who were called up by accused woman Krishna. On Wednesday morning, the girl managed to flee the spot and narrated the incident to a passer-by, who then informed the police.
The victim was brought to Rajasthan by her relative about a year ago.
When contacted Dalip Singh, station house officer (SHO), Ellenabad, said, "Police have started the investigation. A case has been registered against seven accused under sections 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 328 (causing hurt by means of poison, etc), 365 (kidnapping or abducting with intent secretly and wrongfully), 373 (buying minor for purposes of prostitution, etc), 347 (wrongful confinement to extort property, or constrain), 347-D, 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation), 120-D of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Of the seven accused four had been arrested. The arrested accused are Krishna, wife of Khayaliram; Raju Mstria, a resident of Nimla village; Indraj and Mangal, both residents of Jeevan Nagar. Police said hunt was on to nab the three accused.
