Ghaziabad: Man stabbed by sister's stalker

 A 28-year-old youth was stabbed by a man, who was stalking his sister for several days, after he warned him against doing so in Vijay Nagar area here.


Police said the youth suffered stab wounds on his legs and is recuperating in a district hospital.

According to police, the incident took place last night when the youth's 19-year-old-sister was on way to home and the accused Makka allegedly tried to molest her.

"The girl, somehow, managed to escape from his clutches and told her brother about the incident. The girl's brother approached Makka and objected to his behaviour and warned him against doing it again.However, Makka attacked the youth on his legs with a knife, and fled from the spot," police said.

After the incident, the youth was rushed to district hospital.
