They have also recovered the white Scorpio car which was allegedly used in the crime. However, the medical examination of the victim remains inconclusive so far. The white Scorpio was recovered from Vaishali in Ghaziabad.  Nawab Bhati alias Nabbu, one of the accused, was also arrested from Vaishali. Bhati is a resident of Greater Noida but had been staying in Vaishali for the past couple of days.

Bhati was later produced before a Ghaziabad court which sent him to judicial custody.

His family members have alleged that their son has been framed due to a business rivalry over a discotheque and a parking space with a group of men from Ghazipur area.

His family has also alleged that the victim’s friend knew these men. But the police on Friday had said that the victim’s friend knew the two accused.

Meanwhile, the medical examination of the victim remains inconclusive. “Her slides have been prepared and sent for further examination. The report shows no injury marks on her body,” senior superintendent of police (SSP) Prashant Kumar said.

The mall management also maintained that they were not intimated about the incident by the victim.

The second accused Sandeep Bhati is presently absconding and efforts are on to nab him.

A case of rape was lodged after the woman filed a complaint at Indirpuram police station on Friday.

The incident allegedly took place on Thursday afternoon. The men had taken the victim to the Scorpio car and allegedly raped her inside the parking.

On Thursday morning, one of the female friends of the woman had introduced the two men to her. The incident took place several hours later but was reported to the police only on Friday morning. The victim is pursuing her polytechnic and office-management studies.
