The police has termed the rape case of a government school teacher at Dablana in Rajasthan's Bundi district as "false and fabricated".

Bundi superintendent of police Pankaj Chaudhary said the police had cross-checked the claims by the woman with the call details, locations of the accused and on the basis of the investigation of the accused and other witnesses. "The forensic sciences laboratory (FSL) report of the site of the reported incident said that the case is fabricated and has been hatched as part of a conspiracy or revenge on her associate," he said.

A 28-year-old teacher of government school at Rainn village in Bundi had alleged gang rape by four men while she was alone in the school on April 25 morning.

SP added that a petition would also be submitted to the court for disciplinary action against the complainant for registering a false FIR. "We will also write to the district collector and the education department for taking action," he said.

The alleged rape case had caused furor in Bundi as various organisations had protested against the incident, and demanded action against the guilty. The case was also taking communal colouring as the complainant belongs to miniority community.

Meanwhile, the statement of the teacher was recorded in the court. The investigating officer, deputy SP Hindoli  Kishori Lal said that the statements of the three women from the accused's village were recorded and summons was served to the petitioner for recording her statement.

The police said that the woman from the minority community was associated with a person against whom a rape case was registered some time ago in Hindoli police station. "The woman and her acquaintance thus hatched a conspiracy to take revenge against four accused to defame them and put them under pressure," the SP said.

The police maintained that that due to timely investigation four innocent persons could be saved in the case. All the four accused were checked in woman's presence, and their involvement did not match the claims made by the teacher, said the officer.
