Hamirpur mandi samiti sets up flying squad

A flying squad has been set up by the Hamipur Mandi samiti to check the pilferage of marketing fee.


This was stated by Prem Kaushal, the chairman of the samiti here last night.

He said that instructions had been issued to all the wholesale traders working in various mandis to display the rate list of their items so that farmers were able to know what the market trend was going on.

Earlier, he held meeting with the members of the samiti and discussed many issues related to improving the working of the Mandis operating in different parts of the district.A number of committees were also formed on this occasion to run the working of various samitis in an efficient manner.
