Senior Indian National Lok Dal leader Abhey Chautala has alleged that in every deal wherein farmers’ land was acquired in the state, chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda had 20% share in it. He also challenged Hooda for an open debate on the issue.

Abhey said this during a public meeting at Kiloi village of Rohtak Lok Sabha constituency, while seeking votes for the party nominee, Shamsher Singh Kharkhada. Garhi-Sampla-Kiloi is assembly constituency of chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda.

Training guns at Hooda, the Ellenabad legislator said that during the INLD regime, only 1,414 acres of land was given permission for 'change of land use’ (CLU), while during 10 years of Hooda regime, over 22,500 acres of land had been granted CLU permission.

On Congress nominee Deepender Singh Hooda, he said that while the Congress was spreading rumours that he was ill, but the fact was that he was in loss how to explain people about lack of development work.

Commenting on Narendra Modi recent statement on INLD in Gohana, he said that though Modi did not say anything directly on party, but party’s support to him is not unconditional. “If Modi wants our support, he would have to come to our doorstep and seek it,” Abhey said.
