A Sanskrit teacher, who was booked by the Bhiwani police for allegedly raping a minor Dalit girl at Ningana Kalan village, continues to be at large.
As per details, Shiv Charan, a Sanskrit teacher at Ningana Kalan government school, had allegedly raped a Class-10 girl on November 6, after he called her to a vacant room on pretext of bringing water for him. After the incident, the victim stopped going to the school and did not reveal anything to her parents. When the family insisted, she broke down in front of mother on Friday and narrated the incident that occurred on November 6.

Her family reached the government school and manhandled the accused and demanded his immediate arrest. The police had to intervene and pacify the protesters by assuring them of speedy action in the case. The protesters also demanded transfer of two other teachers of the same school, which was assured by school headmaster.

Bhiwani civil surgeon Dr Ram Chandra said the rape could only be confirmed after report comes.

On the arrest of the accused, Bhiwani SP Mithesh Jain said the matter is under investigation and police are doing their job.
