Congress lodges complaint against damaged hoardings

After a number of hoardings of the party candidate Deepender Hooda were found damaged, the Congress has lodged a complaint with the district returning officer Amit Aggarwal. Copies of the complaint, along with photographs have also been sent to election observer and state chief electoral officer.

Local congress leaders, including MLAs Anand Singh Dangi, Bharat Bhushan Batra and Shakuntala Khatak, have strongly condemned the incident. 

They said that the opposition parties could see their defeat that's why they were resorting to such unethical practices.

28 police officers shifted

Haryana government has shifted 28 police officers with immediate effect. An official release said that Vijay Singh, deputy superintendent of police (DSP), HQ, Sirsa, was posted as DSP, city, Fatehabad, against a vacant post. Rajbir Singh, DSP, HQ, Panipat (designate ACP, city Gurgaon) went as DSP, Assandh, in place of Sham Lal, who was posted as DSP, Saffidon, in place of Ramesh Chand, who went as DSP, CID.
