Indian National Lok Dal MLA from Ellenabad Abhey Singh Chautala has claimed that if his party was voted to power in the next assembly elections, investigations into 'suspicious' land deals across the state would be handed over to IAS officer Ashok Khemka.

"Investigations into Robert Vadra's land deals will also be handed over to the officer," he claimed.
Assembly polls are due in 2014.

Addressing a press conference here, he alleged that the senior IAS officer had been harassed for exposing the 'shady' land dealings of the Congress government.

On the recent attachment of residential property of jailed former chief minister OP Chautala, he alleged that the case was politically motivated and they would move court against the attachment and hoped to get a stay on the order.

On the possibility of an alliance between INLD, BJP and Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC), he said that HJC chief Kuldeep Bishnoi was not a part of opposition party in the state and could be considered part of the Congress-B team.

"We are yet to decide on any alliance with the BJP. However, nothing can be ruled out at this juncture."
On Vidhan Sabha speaker Kuldeep Sharma terming BJP as 'a rubber shoe that fits every foot', he claimed that such comments did not do justice to his position and said that the INLD had demanded the resignation of the speaker for this comment.
