Police recruitment board gets two new members

Joginder Singh Maan, chairman of Haryana police recruitment board, on Friday administered oath to OP Lohan and Rajender Ballah as members of the board in Panchkula, near here, on Friday.


Maan said the board had so far released three advertisements to invite applications for 10,692 posts of constables in various categories.

These posts included 1,347 posts for ex-servicemen of Haryana and the candidates would have to submit application forms at the board office.

Similarly, the board had invited online applications for 8,275 posts of general category (male) and other categories and 334 posts of women candidates.

Also, the board had invited online applications for 736 posts of IRB battalions. To apply online and for related information, candidates can log on to the board website:, Maan added.

28 police officers shifted

Haryana government has shifted 28 police officers with immediate effect. An official release said that Vijay Singh, deputy superintendent of police (DSP), HQ, Sirsa, was posted as DSP, city, Fatehabad, against a vacant post. Rajbir Singh, DSP, HQ, Panipat (designate ACP, city Gurgaon) went as DSP, Assandh, in place of Sham Lal, who was posted as DSP, Saffidon, in place of Ramesh Chand, who went as DSP, CID.
