India's batsman Yuvraj Singh's mother Shabnam Singh turned up to cast her vote at Community Centre, DLF City Phase 1, with her son Joravar Singh, Yuvraj's younger brother.

But what appeared quite funny for them and others soon after the mother and son came out of the polling booth after casting their votes that Shabnam Singh did not see irremovable ink mark on her son's finger.

"It is quite funny you cast your vote without ink mark on your finger, while I have ink mark on my finger," said Shabnam Singh adding that she casts her vote in every election and she promotes her sons also to cast votes.

After they left, the Hindustan Times spoke to the polling booth attendants.

"Joravar perhaps came to assist his mother only, not to cast his vote," said an official at the polling booth, requesting to ignore the matter anyway after HT insisted upon checking the voting list they had.

However, HT later found Joravar's name in the electoral list and both mother and son had held electoral slips in their hands.
