Singh is on his two-day visit to the district which started from Sujanpur.

He even visited the local Shiva temple and sought blessings for the well-being of the people.
Industries minister Mukesh Agnihotri, chief parliamentary secretary Inder Dutt Lakhanpal and other local Congress leaders and senior district-level officers also accompanied the CM.

The chief minister also inaugurated an exhibition pandal at the local boys' school ground and visited various exhibitions put up by the government/semi government departments and individuals.

Though it was a Sunday and shops were mostly closed, people were enthusiastic and keen to take part in the function.
