#RahulGandhi was the top Twitter trend late on Wednesday, but for all the wrong reasons.
The Congress vice-president’s Twitter account was hacked, with about a dozen offensive tweets being posted over more than an hour.
While many on Twitter laughed at Gandhi’s expense, others condemned the abusive nature of the posts and demanded swift action against those involved in the cyberattack.
