Irked over parking space, jawan shoots, kills neighbour in Shahjahanpur

An Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) constable on Saturday shot and killed a 30-year-old man and injured his sister in Choti Koilara village in Shahjahanpur following a parking dispute.

An Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) constable on Saturday shot and killed a 30-year-old man and injured his sister in Choti Koilara village in Shahjahanpur following a parking dispute.

Krishna Kumar Jaiswal, beat up his neighbour Collector Yadav over parking of the latter’s motorcycle on Friday night, SP D P N Pandey said.

On Saturday afternoon, fight over parking space escalated and Jaiswal opened fire at Yadav and his sister from his licenced .315 bore rifle, the SP said.

Yadav succumbed to bullet injuries while his sister is admitted to a hospital in Varanasi.

Four were named in the FIR. While Jaiswal was arrested, the police are searching for two others, SP said.
