The historic town took religious hues on the occasion of the fifth consecutive Jagannath Yatra on Sunday.Every household tried to become a part of the procession. The yatra was welcomed by people of all religions, setting an example of national integration.

The ancient temple of Lord Jagannath is supposed to be the only temple of Lord Jagannath in north India.Thousands of devotees did not let pass the opportunity to pull the rath of Lord Jagannath. A special rath was constructed for the yatra.

The organiser said the decision to organise the yatra was taken two years ago. The yatra started from the ancient temple which passed from different parts of the town.
