Opposing announcement of sops in Bharatpur prior to budget, the opposition including Congress, NPP and independent MLA staged a walkout in state assembly on Thursday.

The opposition demanded time to speak over the issue but speaker Kailash Meghwal denied. Despite the denial they continued and later the leader of opposition Rameshwar Dudi announced walkout which was followed by NPP members and Independent MLA Hanuman Beniwal.

NPP MLA Kirori Meena raised objection over announcements made by the government for Bharatpur division after cabinet meeting recently in the area. Congress MLA Vishvendra Singh demanded clarification from the government over its recommendation to centre to include Jat community of Dholpur and Bharatpur in OBC Centre list.

Independent MLA Hanuman Beniwal also wanted to speak but the Speaker did not allow and warned the opposition of stern action if they continued to disturb.
After the warning of the Speaker, the opposition members staged a walkout.

When the house resumed after adjournment following obituary reference to Congress veteran Parasram Maderna, Dudi alleged that the government had not given homage properly to the departed Jat leader.

The Speaker rejected the allegation and said that due honour and proper tributes were given to Maderna, and requested him not to raise such issues. Dudi walked out alone, and later, the other Opposition members walked out of the house too.
