Re-polling ordered at Newai booth no 28 in Tonk area

The Election Commission has decided to hold re-polling at a booth in Tonk-Sawai Madhopur parliamentary constituency on April 28 (Monday) from 7am to 6pm.


Joint chief electoral officer PC Gupta said some discrepancy was detected in the polling process at booth number 28 at Newai in Tonk-Sawai Madhopur Lok

Sabha seat after which election commission has directed to conduct re-polling here.

In Tonk-Sawai Madhopur, elections were held on April 24. 

It is to be mentioned that Lok Sabha polls were conducted in two phases in Rajasthan on April 17 and 24. In the first phase, polling took place in 20 parliamentary constituencies, while in phase two, polling was held in five parliamentary constituencies. HTC
