There was panic among passengers of the 2306 Dn Rajdhani Express when smoke was seen emanating from one of its wheels today, Eastern Railway sources said.
They said as the train was entering Durgapur station around 10.32 am, a cabin man noticed smoke emanating from a wheel. The train was
stopped at Durgapur and checked.
On examination, it was found that a plastic bag which had got entangled in a wheel was causing the smoke as it brushed against the track. It was removed and the train left Durgapur for Howrah at 10.44 am.
