Lashkar spokesperson Abdullah Gaznavi, in a telephonic statement, said: “The arrested man is not affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba. New Delhi, by labelling people as LeT militants, is trying to malign the outfit. The arrested old man has got nothing to do with the Lashkar.”

Police sources said the Delhi police, which arrested Tunda from near the Nepal border, has not contacted them.
