Surprisingly, they have received maximum number calls from Noida and almost 70% of the calls were made by women.

Love Commandos were featured on the June 3 episode of the popular show that dealt with cases of honour killing in the country.

“Within 48 hours of telecast of the programme, we have got more than 6,000 calls from Noida and Greater Noida area seeking suggestions. A lot of honour killing cases have been reported from the NCR region, which may be a reason why we have got maximum number of calls from Noida region. Maximum queries were about marriage counselling and protection from family,” said Sanjoy Sachdev, co-founder, Love Commandos.

The organisation has claimed that they have been continuously receiving calls from every corner of the world on their 12 helpline numbers.

“Our phone numbers are continuously ringing. We are even getting calls on our fax number. We have got calls from Indians living abroad and even from Pakistan,” added Sachdev.

The organisation motivates couples to stand against caste system. Established in 2010, it is a voluntary organisation having a national network of volunteers.
