Armed maoists blew up a power sub-station in Bihar's naxal-infested Jamui district late Sunday night, police said.
Numbering over 100, the maoists stormed the power sub-station in Badigram village and blew it up with explosives, deputy superintendent of police (DSP) Virendra Sahu said on Monday. A room of the power sub-station was totally wrecked in the explosion hitting power supply, he added.
Sahu also added, some employees at the sub-station managed to escape just in time.
A case has been registered and the Maoists are being searched for.
