Additional force have been deployed in the area in order to prevent any clashes between the two community and senior officers including DM Navdeep Rinwa and SSP Deepak Kumar are camping at the spot to monitor the situation.

Meanwhile, leaders and workers of BJP and traders organisations launched a protest at Subhash Nagar locality demanding stringet action against the accused and compensation to the family of deceased youth. People got panicked and traders shut their shops in a hurry to reach their homes.

The district magistrate informed that the 17-year-boy-old was missing since Wednesday evening and was last seen at a nearby cyber cafe.

The matter was reported to the police which began investigation and arrested three youths on charges of murder. He said that his dead body was found in a nearby drain. While others say that his body was recovered from a nearby graveyard.

It is believed that the deceased youth had a fight with some youngsters of rival community over a trivial matter of cell phone and cash of Rs. 700 on Wednesday evening and since then he was missing.

In wake of prevailing tension district magistrate has ordered for closure of all school and colleges in the district on Friday.

Earlier, district administration had staged a flag march jointly with Army after a few incidents to sabotage peace and harmony in the district, which bore the brunt of fierce communal riots in the past.
