On Saturday two Kashmiri militants, members of the banned outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), were arrested in Baramulla.

Security forces are battling a an increased infiltration across LoC and local youth leaving home to join militant ranks.

HT had earlier reported that certain infiltration estimates by intelligence agencies have pegged the number to 150 this year, considering the low snowfall of March and April this year. Moreover, over 50 local youth are suspected to have joined the militant ranks after Wani’s death.
