Minor among two raped in Jammu

Two including a minor were allegedly raped in two separate incidents in this winter capital of the state.


"A three-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her father last evening in R S Pura area on the city outskirts," police here today said.
  
Police said Sunil Kumar last evening took her three-year-old daughter to an isolated placed and committed the crime.
  
"The girl was found unconscious by the villagers and informed the police," they said. During medical examination, it was found that the girl was raped and acting on a complaint lodged by the family members, the father was arrested.
  
A case under section 376 and 377 of RPC has been registered.

In a separate incident, a teenaged girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped by a youth of her own village in Gharota area on the city outskirts. "The girl, who has been missing three day ago under mysterious circumstances was found yesterday at a bus stand in Gharota," police said.
  
They said the girl in a complaint alleged that she was kidnapped by one Parvez Ahmed of same area and he kept the girl in illegal confinement for three days and raped her.
  
"Acting on a complaint a case under section 376 of RPC was registered and manhunt was launched to apprehend the absconding accused," police added.
