Missing BJP leader’s body found on Yamuna Expressway, nephew accused of murder
The body of Rahul Pachori, the general secretary of the Tundla block of the BJP who was missing since Tuesday afternoon, has been found on the Yamuna Expressway.
The body of Rahul Pachori, the general secretary of the Tundla block of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) who was missing since Tuesday afternoon, was found on the Yamuna Expressway on Wednesday morning, police said.
Pachori’s motorcycle was recovered on Tuesday night, and his father Rakesh Kumar has filed a murder complaint at the Etmadpur police station against Pachori’s nephew, Arvind Kumar.
Monetary transaction is believed to be the reason behind a dispute that resulted in the death of Pachori, a resident of Usaiyani village in Tundla block of Firozabad district – around 25 km from Agra.
A case has been registered under section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code against Arvind Kumar, whom the family has accused of not returning Rs 2.50 lakh taken from Pachori, police said.
“The body was found near Rami Garhi village on the Agra-Noida Yamuna Expressway under Etmadpur police station of Agra district. The body was identified as that of Rahul Pachori, who had been missing since Tuesday afternoon. The motor cycle of the deceased man was found abandoned on the Yamuna Expressway,” said Shyam Singh Teelwan, in-charge of Etmadpur police station.
