Musical album for Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru released

A musical album as a tribute to Mohammad Afzal Guru, who was executed in Tihar jail earlier in 2013 following conviction in the Parliament attack case, was released in Srinagar on Saturday by a civil society group.

The album titled Tribute to Mohammad Afzal Guru is a compilation of 14 songs to "highlight his contribution and make him an icon", co-ordinator, Jammu Kashmir Coalition of Civil Society, Khurram Pervez, said.

Pervez said four songs in the album are in English while eight are in Urdu and two in Kashmiri.
