Nagaland: 5 decomposed bodies identified

Tension mounted in Karbi – Rengma Naga ethnic strife affected Karbi Anglong hills district of Assam on Sunday after identification of four more decomposed bodies recovered from a jungle of Dimapur town in Nagaland.

The bodies were of Karbi youths from the hills district of Assam. Four more bodies are yet to be identified. On Saturday, one of the nine decomposed bodies recovered in Dimapur was identified as of a Karbi tribal from the Bokajan area in Karbi Anglong district.

Tension gripped the hills district and the administration clamped night curfew in Bokajan sub division. Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi expressed deep concern over recovery of nine decomposed bodies in Dimapur.
