The administration of Government Primary School, Chuddan, in Palyion panchayat located on the Haryana border has come under scanner over the alleged involvement of the schoolteachers in a sex racket.
The district police administration has launched a probe into the matter and additional superintendent of police Bhagat Singh Thakur has been asked to conduct a detailed inquiry in the case.
A deputation of villagers and the school managing committee (SMC) met the SP on Thursday.
As evidence, the villagers and the committee also submitted a CD, which contained the voice recording of the accused teachers and cook of the school allegedly involved in the case, to the SP, said Anil Kumar, vice-president of the panchayat.
He said around 25 recordings of conversations between male and female teachers have also been submitted to the police authorities, in which teachers were openly discussing about the illicit relations.
President of SMC Bhushan Kumar said the voice recording of teachers might expose them and forensic examination of the recording might also be done by the inquiry officer. He said the village was located on the Haryana border and teachers were also trying to involve the girl students and women of the village into the racket.
The villagers said such activities could not be tolerated in future. SP Sumedha Dwivedi said a deputation of the villagers met her regarding the case. She said the ASP had been asked for conducting a probe into the matter and added that further action would be taken accordingly after the findings of the inquiry.
