AAP hits out at Delhi police over death of Arunachal youth

Slamming Delhi Police for the death of the son of an Arunachal Pradesh MLA in New Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today said that "as far as accountability of Delhi Police is concerned, this is very condemnable".

"Whoever is responsible for it (the incident), must be given stringent punishment so that a strong precedent is set.

"This (the incident) underlines the lawlessness that we have always been questioning. As far as accountability of Delhi Police is concerned, this is very condemnable," said party spokesperson Dilip Pandey.

An Arunachal Pradesh MLA's son died in New Delhi after he was allegedly beaten up yesterday by some shopkeepers following an altercation sparked by their taunts on his hairstyle.
