The lead pair of upcoming movie Band, Baja Baraat, Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh entered into a scuffle with their co-passenger, an IPS officer, during a Kingfisher Mumbai-Delhi flight. According to sources, Sharma had a heated argument with two passengers, one of them a former Maharashtra cadre IAS officer, when the flight was about to land in Delhi. Later, Ranveer entered into a scuffle when they reached to terminal.

Police, however, said the matter was brought to their notice by Kingfisher staff but no official complaint had been filed in this regard.

"Ranveer and Anushka were travelling by the Kingfisher flight IT-331 from Mumbai to Delhi. Two passengers sitting behind Anushka reportedly took some photographs of her to which she objected. This led to an argument between them," said a Kingfisher source.

After landing in Delhi, the two passengers requested the Kingfisher staff to provide them separate vehicles to go to the terminal. "The duo were given separate vehicle but Ranveer barged into the vehicle and entered into a scuffle with them. The fight took place at the airside and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officials intervened in the matter," the source added.

When the issue could not be settled, both the parties were brought to Palam Police station. "Anushka didn’t come to the police station and a representative from Kingfisher airline along with Ranveer came to Palam Police station. The other two were also ready to file a counter complaint. Later, both the parties resolved the matter," said a police officer.
