Notwithstanding the reprimand, a “humiliated” Union steel minister Beni Prasad Verma on Thursday said he will continue to attack Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav and threatened to quit the Congress if he was stopped from doing so.

Attacking the SP chief yet again, Verma alleged that Yadav had “connived” with the BJP in run up to the Babri Masjid demolition.

“I felt humiliated,” he said about the reprimand from party general secretary Madhusudan Mistry who on Wednesday warned him from making personal attacks on Yadav. He has sought an appointment with Congress president Sonia Gandhi to complain against Mistry.
