A 15-year-old school girl made up the sensational story of her kidnapping, molestation and harassment because she did not want her family to know about a random ‘beer party’ that she went to with her cousin.

Officers of the Vasant Kunj South police station on Tuesday afternoon received a complaint that a 15-year-old girl had been kidnapped while she was on her way home in Ghitorni from her school.

The girl’s family told the police that their daughter was kidnapped in a Mahindra Scorpio SUV, and the abductors forced her to consume alcohol due to which she lost consciousness.

As the police launched a probe into the incident and started looking for the girl, CISF personnel found her outside the Akshardham Metro station.  They took her to Vasant Kunj South police station.

She told the police that she was kidnapped and kept in the SUV by her kidnappers the entire day.

Based on the sequence of events narrated by the girl, the police launched a probe and scanned the CCTV footage of the Ghitorni Metro station. They found the girl entered the public toilet inside the station in her school uniform but came out in casual clothing.

This exposed her entire plan.

The girl had boarded a Metro and reached Noida where she met her cousin. “The two girls, accompanied by a boy, went to a restaurant in Sector-15, Noida. They all consumed beer. The girl’s cousin dropped her outside the Akshardham Metro station and asked her to return home. However, the girl chose to sit outside the Metro station as she feared that her parents would reprimand her for consuming alcohol,” said a police officer.

While the girl was at the Metro station, her parents called her on her phone and she cooked up the entire kidnapping plot, the officer said.
