Jaswant Singh still in coma, condition still grave

Former BJP leader Jaswant Singh continues to be in deep coma on Wednesday, with the doctors describing his condition to be grave.

"He is still on ventilator support and his condition continues to be grave, while his vitals are stable. He had fever, transient hypotension (low blood pressure) and his condition was slightly worse than yesterday (Tuesday)," stated a statement from Army Research & Referral Hospital.

The 76-year-old leader was brought to the hospital at at1 am on Friday with an injury to his head. He is under constant monitoring by a team of neurosurgeons and critical care experts at the hospital.

He was brought to the hospital by his family members after they found him lying on the floor in an unconscious state.
